Overview
Securemedy is seeking motivated and energetic Junior Business Development Associates to support our continued expansion across the NY/NJ market.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build a career in sales, business development, commercial real estate or the security industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily in-person prospecting with businesses in your assigned region.
- Visit commercial buildings, residential communities, healthcare facilities, schools, shelters and property management offices.
- Introduce Securemedy's security services to prospective clients.
- Identify decision-makers and schedule meetings for senior business development executives.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Build professional relationships with property managers, facility directors and business owners.
- Record prospect activity and market intelligence in the company's CRM system.
- Attend networking events and represent Securemedy professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service or business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organized and goal-oriented.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to walk through commercial districts and meet with prospective clients daily.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in sales and marketing or a business-related field.
- CRM experience.
