Olabanji O. Folayan was born and raised in the Washington Metropolitan Area, and attended the University of the District of Columbia (B.A., Business Administration, 1997) and the University of Maryland (M.S. Management, 2004, and Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security Management, 2007).
Prior to establishing Securemedy, Incorporated, Mr. Folayan worked in various capacities from security officer to management, working on commercial and government contracts. He has provided oversight for a workforce of over 300 employees. His duties included management oversight for short-term and long-term objectives, contract negotiations, financial analysis and reporting, contract oversight, maintaining labor relations and strategic management of contract security services functions.
With regards to professional certifications, he has attained Certified Protection Professional (CPP) status with ASIS International. He also holds Certified in Homeland Security (CHS-V) status with the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, and is a board-certified Program Manager (CPM) with the International Association of Project and Program Managers.
